‘brandnewsky’ การผนึกกําลังของ Nobuna และแร็ปเปอร์ญี่ปุ่น-อเมริกันจาก New York!
brandnewsky เป็นเพลงแรกที่วงนํามาตัดซิงเกิล หลังจากการปล่อยอัลบั้มเต็มอัลบั้มที่ 2 AKATSUKI เมื่อปลายปี 2019 ซึ่ง brandnewsky ยังเป็นอีกเพลงของวงที่พูดถึงการใหกําลังใจผู้ที่เป็น loser หรือผู้ที่ถูกทําร้าย ชีวิตเคยล้มเหลวมาก่อน มี key message คือ ‘Even everything falls apart, but I won’t stop running. Keep on flying’ แม้ว่าทุกสิ่งทุกอย่างจะแตกเป็นเสี่ยง ๆ แต่ฉันจะไม่หยุดวิ่ง ฉันจะบินต่อไป
brandnewsky เป็นเพลง modern rock ผสม punk สไตล์ญี่ปุ่นและ metal เข้าด้วยกันอย่างลงตัว โดยที่มีเมโลดี้ร้องที่สวยงาม ถ่ายทอดผ่านดนตรีที่มีความดุดัน ซึ่งหากคนที่ไม่รู้จักเพลงนี้มาก่อนหากได้ฟังครั้งแรกก็จะคิดไปว่าเป็นเพลงเปิด anime สักเรื่อง
ความพิเศษของเพลงนี้คือทางวงได้ติดต่อกับ KAZUO เพื่อที่จะทาบทามให้มาร่วมงานในเพลงนี้ KAZUO เป็นแร็ปเปอร์ลูกครึ่งญี่ปุ่น-อเมริกัน ที่โด่งดังจาก Spotify ด้วยเพลงแรปอันดุเดือดปนตลก ผสมภาษาญี่ปุ่นและอังกฤษอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว
หลังจาก KAZUO ได้รับอีเมลล์ เขาก็ตอบรับในทันทีเนื่องจากมีความชื่นชอบในเพลงร็อกเป็นทุนเดิม เขาชอบเดโม่เพลง brandnewsky ของทางวงมาก ๆ จึงทําให้งานนี้เกิดขึ้นมาในระยะเวลาอันสั้น เพราะฉะนั้น นี่จึงเป็นเพลงแรกของ Nobuna ที่มีสวนผสมของภาษาญี่ปุ่นเข้ามาด้วย
